It was described by Meyrick in 1913.[1] It is found in India (Assam).[2] The wingspan is 14–17 mm. The forewings are whitish-ochreous, strigulated with fuscous and dark fuscous irroration and with a small dark fuscous spot on the base of the costa, a short mark in the middle, another beyond three-fourth, and several dots between these. There is also a small blackish-fuscous spot on the fold at one-fourth. The second discal stigma is moderate, dark fuscous, with the plical and first discal minute or obsolete, the plical beneath the first discal. The hindwings are iridescent-grey.[3] References1. ^{{LepIndex |id=100690 |accessdate=May 22, 2018}} {{Taxonbar|from=Q13589623}}{{Dichomeris-stub}}2. ^Dichomeris at funet 3. ^[https://archive.org/stream/journalofbombayn221913bomb#page/175/mode/1up J.
