Club careerA leftsided winger, Calvo started his career at Alajuelense and joined Vålerenga in March 2013 to play alongside compatriot Giancarlo González.[1] On 11 August 2014, he was loaned out to IFK Göteborg.[2] InternationalCalvo played for his country at the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup.[3] He made his senior debut for Costa Rica on 22 March 2013 against the United States in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Colorado[3] and has, as of January 2014, earned a total of 8 caps, scoring one goal.
