Dinhata police station serves this block. Headquarters of this block is at Sahebganj.[1][2] GeographySahebganj, one of the constituent panchayats of the block, is located at {{coord|26.1230700|N|89.6143800|E|format=dms|}}. Dinhata II community development block has an area of 103.30 km2.[2] Gram panchayatsGram panchayats of Dinhata II block/ panchayat samiti are: Bamanhat I, Bamanhat II, Bara Sakdal, Burirhat I, Burirhat II, Chowdhuryhat, Gobrachhara Nayarhat, Kismat Dasgram, Nazirhat I, Nazirhat II, Sahebganj and Sukrurkuthi.[3]DemographicsAs per 2011 Census of India, Dinhata II CD Block had a total population of 244,066, all of which were rural. There were 122,663 males and 117,403 females.
