| synonyms_ref = }}Diospyros dictyoneura is a tree in the Ebenaceae family.[3] It grows up to {{convert|30|m|-2}} tall. The fruits are ellipsoid, up to {{convert|4.5|cm|0|abbr=on}} long. The specific epithet {{lang|el|dictyoneura}} is from the Greek meaning "net of nerves", referring to the leaf veins.
