}}Diospyros macrophylla is a tree in the Ebenaceae family. It grows up to {{convert|30|m|-1}} tall. Inflorescences bear up to 20 flowers. The fruits are round to oblong, up to {{convert|6.5|cm|in|0|abbr=on}} in diameter. The specific epithet {{lang|el|macrophylla}} is from the Greek meaning "large-leafed". Habitat is mixed dipterocarp forests from sea-level to {{convert|1000|m|-2}} altitude.
