It only broadcasts at daytime between 6 AM and 6.55 PM. At night a screensaver was being displayed. It was available in the Netherlands on Ziggo, Caiway, Caiway Albrandswaard and Caiway Cogas/Caiway Twente. In Flanders it was available on Telenet and Belgacom. Viewers in Wallonia, Brussels and Luxembourg receive the French version. HistoryOn 3 May 2010 Disney Junior started as Playhouse Disney in the Netherlands. It also launched under the same name as a block on the main Disney Channel.[1] Disney Junior replaced Playhouse Disney on 10 September 2011.[2] Ziggo announced that Disney Junior would close in the Netherlands and Flanders on 1 April 2019. Disney Channels Benelux is planning to distribute its programmes differently.[3][4] Disney Junior closed on 1 April 2019.
