Shri Rajendra Prasad Padhy was the first President of the forum. In 2008, it was shifted to the existing new building. AimThe aim and objective of the Forum is to safeguard the right of the consumers and provide relief to the consumers under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986. It is a district level Court that deals with consumer disputes involving deficiency in service with claims up to 20 lakhs.
