Musically, Diva contains electropop songs with influences from hip-hop, house and oriental music laced throughout the album. Lyrically, it revolves around sex, love, adultery and revenge. It contains samples from songs of other performers with added lyrics by Marina Tucaković, entirely produced by Nebojša Arežina and Marko Perunčić from Atelje Trag. It was advertised as the fastest album on the Balkans to be certified gold: allegedly selling 200,000 copies during the first 24 hours. BackgroundIn early 2010, Karleuša announced that she’s working on a new studio album, after releasing it's lead single "Insomnia". The song was downloaded for free over 1.5 million times during the first 24 hours of its release. The music video was released later that year. She successfully held her 2010 concert titled 'All About Diva Show' in the Belgrade arena in front of 20,000 fans. She then released singles "Muškarac koji mrzi žene" in January 2011 and "Nova religija (Plava Šeherezada)" in June same year. The album's announcement was followed with a series of explicit teasers, one of which displays Karleuša blending brain. Previews of all eleven songs from the album were posted on 9 June 2012, two days before the official release.[2] Covers
