She was survived by her husband, cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. Tan Ngoh Chuan, and their three children. A fourth child died in 2013. Her funeral was held at the Paya Lebar Methodist Church.[1] References1. ^1 2 3 4 5 {{cite news|first=Monica |last=Kotwani |title=Former PAP MP Dr Dixie Tan dies aged 78 |url=http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/former-pap-mp-dr-dixie/1080798.html |work=Channel NewsAsia |date=23 April 2014 |accessdate=11 May 2014 |deadurl=yes |archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20140425204638/http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/former-pap-mp-dr-dixie/1080798.html |archivedate=25 April 2014 |df= }} {{DEFAULTSORT:Tan, Dixie}}2. ^1 {{cite news|first=Goh Chin|last=Lah|title=Former PAP MP Dixie Tan dies|url=http://www.singapolitics.sg/news/former-pap-mp-dixie-tan-dies|work=Strait Times Singapolitics|date=23 April 2014|accessdate=11 May 2014|deadurl=yes|archiveurl=https://archive.is/20140512030458/http://www.singapolitics.sg/news/former-pap-mp-dixie-tan-dies|archivedate=12 May 2014|df=}} 10 : 1930s births|2014 deaths|Singaporean cardiologists|Members of the Parliament of Singapore|People's Action Party politicians|Singaporean women in politics|Deaths from brain tumor|Deaths from cancer in Singapore|Place of birth missing|Singaporean Methodists |
