From 1987 the famıly began to expand, opening shops in the Çanakkale area and then establishing a national network of agents. Doğtaş began exporting furniture in 1994, to Albania. Specialising in beds and sofas today Doğtaş produces furniture for export and the domestic market, including the 200+ stores the company has in Turkey and abroad, including 3 stores in London.[2] Since 2007 Doğtaş have carried CE marking and in recent years have worked with well-known designers such as Atıl Kutoğlu and Ece Sükan.
