Chancellor Abdel Ghaffar Mohammed was born January 12 in 1929 in Cairo in the Darb al-Ahmar district; he joined the Faculty of Law, Cairo University in 1944, and graduated in May 1948. He was appointed public prosecutor in October 18th 1948 in Quetta gunpowder in the Governor ElBehera. Chancellor Abdel Ghaffar Mohammed was Chairman of the Supreme State Security Court, a judge of the largest and most important Historic trial in the history of Egypt today ”the major Jihad” , which included 302 accused persons, whether participants and planners of the assassination of President Sadat in 1981 or who planned to overthrow the government. The trial continued for about 4 years , and the head of the accused was Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri , the leader of the Jihad organization at the time, the second man in al Qaeda now, in addition to all the leaders of Jemaah Islamiyah Surprisingly, in the lives of men, that after his retirement from the judiciary worked as a lawyer, he defend some of those involved in the assassination of Dr. Rifaat Al-Mahgoub, the late President of the People's Assembly, who was his friend and colleague. Counsel Abdul Ghaffar previously participates in as president on behalf of the Attorney General's Office in the investigation with a Field Marshal Abdel Hakim Amer following the defeat of 1967.
