Dr. Anees Ahmed Khan (Vocalist)

Belonging to the great musical family of Delhi Gharana^[1], Dr. Anis Ahmed is the son of Late Ustad Zahoor Ahmed Khan (Violin Wizard)^[2] and Grandson of Sangeet Martand Ustad Chand Khan^[3], Ustad Jahan Khan and Ustad Usman Khan. He is nephew of Late Ustad Hilal Ahmed Khan, Late Tan Samrat Ustad Nasir Ahmed Khan and late Ustad Zafar Ahmed Khan. Dr. Anis Ahmed has learnt vocal music under the tutelage of his elder brother Ustad Iqbal Ahmed Khan.

Ph.D. from Faculty of Music & Fine Arts, Delhi University, Ustad Dr. Anis Ahmed has performed in many concerts in India and Abroad. He has also given Music Direction in T.V. serials.

He worked as a vocal music Asst. Professor in the Faculty of Music & Fine Arts, Delhi University.^[4]
