Endorphins were a Canadian heavy metal/death metal band based in Mississauga, Ontario, active between 1995 and 2008.

History

Endorphins were formed in 1995 in Mississauga. The band's first EP "Volume One" was produced by Ian Blurton and released in June 2002. In early 2004 the album appeared on the !earshot Campus and Community Radio Top @0 Loud Chart.[1]

Their debut album, Where Evil Lies was released in October, 2006 through Urgent Music Records and also produced by Ian Blurton. [2][3]

In June 2008, Endorphins announced that they would be cancelling all shows and breaking up, although they came together in 2009 as part of a tribute show for Adrian Bromley.[4]

After the breakup of the band, vocal/guitarist Michael Amaral has since gone on to join the band Tomahawk Love on drums.

The band reformed briefly in 2017 to play a show at The Rockpile in Toronto with WarMachine.[5]
