Harrison Assessments, or more formally known as Harrison Assessments Talent Management System (HATS), is an assessment tool that was developed specifically for assessing job performance during recruitment and when managing, developing and coaching employees. Harrison Assessment assesses 156 traits in six key behavioural areas including attitudes, interpersonal skills, interests, work preference, corporate values and motivation [1][2]. The system was created and founded as a company by Dr. Dan Harrison in 1990, with the aim "to help companies optimize their human capital by leveraging their deep understanding of human resources and psychology"[3].
