Drijeva known in Venetian as Narenta, was a medieval customs town and marketplace located in what is today the village of Gabela, Bosnia and Herzegovina.{{sfn|Tošić|1987}} It was held by the Kingdom of Serbia until the War of Hum (1326–29), when it was passed to the Banate of Bosnia.{{sfn|Mišić|1997}} It was an early colony of the Republic of Ragusa established in the second half of the 14th century. Ragusan merchants Michaeli de Resti ({{lang-la|Michaeli de Resti}}; {{floruit}} 1389–96) and Stefanus Marini ({{lang-la|Stefanus Marini}}; {{floruit}} 1389–d. 1401) imported salt from Valona to Drijeva.{{sfn|Malović-Đukić|1998}} Marini's creditor was Ragusan merchant Radinus Hilich ({{lang-la|Radinus Hilich}}; {{floruit}} 1391–92) from Drijeva.{{sfn|Malović-Đukić|1998}} Many merchants came from Drijeva.{{sfn|Kurtović|2009|p=61}} Names of individuals from Drijeva have been recorded in documents; examples include: Novak Radosalić (1406),{{sfn|Kurtović|2009|p=79}} powerful merchant Ostoja Radosalić ({{floruit}} 1419–32),{{sfn|Kurtović|2009|p=63}} servant Maroje Radosalić ({{floruit}} 1436–49),{{sfn|Kurtović|2009|pp=63, 66, 78}} Radivoj Bosnić (January 1442),{{sfn|Kurtović|2009|p=39}} Vladislav Radosalić ({{floruit}} 1449–53),{{sfn|Kurtović|2009|p=63}} Radonja Radosalić ({{floruit}} 1457–64),{{sfn|Kurtović|2009|p=63}} and brothers Marko and Maroje Bosnić (1457).{{sfn|Kurtović|2009|p=39}} ReferencesSources
