He represented the electoral district of Halifax East in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 1956 to 1963, and Halifax Eastern Shore from 1967 to 1969. He was a member of the Nova Scotia Liberal Party.[1] Born in 1897 at East Lake Ainslie, Inverness County, Nova Scotia, MacMillan was a physician and surgeon.[2] He graduated from Dalhousie University in 1928.[2] He married Lillian E.
