Inland IFInland IF started in 1925 under the name Ströms IF and has always pursued football operations, but also other sporting activities. The club has produced a number of football talent at Premier Division level, and Gunnar Johansson who advanced to GAIS. Lilla Edet IFThe oldest records available which contains the name of Lilla Edet IF dates back to the 30/7 1913 when the club purchased a spear that came with the train from Gothenburg, purchased at A Th. Nyberg AB on Main Street 41. The first note about football is in a board meeting minutes from 1918 when it was announced that a man decided to play a match against Trollhättans IF on Sunday 30 June. Maden as the stadium was originally named (pronounced MAA) was built in 1918 and it consisted of slag tipped there, the grass was not laid out in the beginning, the players were probably pretty black on the legs after the games.
