A year later, he broke Stefanos Athanasiadis' goalscoring record in the U20s. He also celebrated another title with them. His tally stopped at 25, as he then joined the senior team. On 13 February 2014 Koulouris made his debut with PAOK in the Greek Football Cup against Apollon Smyrnis; he managed to score two goals. An impressive start for one of Greece's greatest talents.[2] During the 2013–14 season he made his league debut against Asteras Tripolis.[3] Anorthosis (loan)In summer of 2015, he signed a year contract with Cypriot First Division club Anorthosis, on loan from PAOK. On 28 October 2015, the 19 years' old midfielder rediscovered his goalscoring touch in style as he scored six for Cypriot Cup in Anorthosis's 9–0 hammering of Elpida Xylofagou giving also one assist, sending a clear messages in his coach André Paus. It was a night that Koulouris would never forget when he got his first goals for his club, specifically six goals in one match with his first coming from the penalty spot in the 22nd minute, nine minutes after Andreas Avraam opened the score for Anorthosis. Three minutes later Koulouris got his second, giving his team a three-goal advantage and putting the game beyond the visitors' reach. Koulouris completed his hat-trick five minutes into the second half and from then on the home team took their foot off the pedal for almost 20 minutes and added another three goals to his tally in the 73rd, 76th and 87th minute of the game.[4] On 1 November 2015, he scored his first goal in the Cypriot First Division in a 2–1 away win against Pafos.[5][6] On 6 January 2016, he opened the score in a 2–1 home win against Anagennisi Deryneia for the 1st leg of the 2nd round of Cypriot Cup. He finished the season having 6 goals in Cypriot First Division and 13 goals in all competitions. Return to PAOKHe returned to PAOK for the 2016–17 season. On 19 September 2016, he netted both goals in a victorious 2–1 away win against Asteras Tripolis.[7] He was elected MVP of the game. Koulouris made his most mature season of his career (32 appearances in all competitions), with yet another special accolade, as he earned teammates' appreciation as he voted Players' Younger Player of the Year.[8] On September 29, 2017, Koulouris agreed to a contract extension with PAOK, until the summer of 2021.[9] On 10 December 2017, he scored in a thriumphic 4–0 home win game against rivals Panathinaikos.[10] On 8 February 2018, he scored in a comfortable 3–1 away Greek Cup win against Atromitos helping his club to be promoted to semi-finals. It was his first goal for the 2017–18 Greek Cup.[11] Atromitos (loan)On 4 July 2018, Atromitos and PAOK agreed terms for the loan move of Koulouris to the club, until the summer of 2019.[12] On 26 July 2018, in his first official game, he scored against Dynamo Brest in a UEFA Europa League 2nd qualifying round - 1st Leg with a great shot outside the area sent the ball to the netting reducing to 4–3 keeping his club's hope for next round.[13] On 25 August 2018, in his first Super League game for the 2018–19 season, he scored a brace sealing a 2–1 away win against rivals Panetolikos. Koulouris, is expected to provide the driving force for Atromitos to kick on after last season’s great success of a fourth-placed finish.[14] On 16 September 2018 Koulouris scored the only goal of the game as Atromitos continued their promising start to the season with a 1–0 home win over 10-man Lamia at the Peristeri Municipal Stadium.[15] On 25 September 2018, he scored in a 2–1 home loss Greek Cup game against PAS Giannina. On 7 October 2018, he scored with a header sealing a 1–0 home win game against PAS Giannina.[16] On 22 October 2018, he scored a brace, including a late winner, in a dramatic 3–2 home win against Asteras Tripolis.[17] Six days later he scored in a 2–2 away draw against Panionios.[18] On 31 October 2018, he scored in a resounding 6–1 away Greek Cup win against Iraklis.[19] After a week without playing in the match against PAOK, as part of a deal between his current club and PAOK, Koulouris scored in a 2–0 away win against reigning the Super League champions AEK Athens at a deserted Olympic Stadium. The young winger sealed the victory, stroking past Vasilis Barkas after a lovely combination play with Bruno on the counterattack in the last minute of the game.[20] On 25 November 2018, he scored after he took the rebound from a shot of his teammate Azer Bušuladžić and José Sá's unstable save, giving the lead to his club in a 1–2 home win loss against rivals Olympiacos.[21] On 9 December 2018, he scored a brace and gave an assist in an emphatic 4–2 home win against Aris Thessaloniki.[22] On 9 January 2019, thanks to an impressive hat trick from the prolific Efthymis Koulouris, Atromitos made a commanding step towards the Greek Cup quarter-finals against Apollon Smyrnis.[23] On 20 January 2019, he opened the scoring for Damir Canadi’s team with his 12th goal of the season after five minutes, but he could not prevent the away loss from rivals Xanthi.[24] On 27 January 2019, he opened the score in a 2–1 away loss against Lamia.[25] On 31 January 2019, he opened the score in an away 1–1 draw against OFI.[26] On 16 February 2019, he scored when captain Javier Umbides sent over a superb free-kick to score with a simple yet clinical finish past goalie Markos Vellidis in a 2–0 away win against PAS Giannina.[27] On 3 March 2019, a penalty from the top flight’s top scorer after 18 minutes, helped the club to gain a 3–0 home win game against Panionios.[28] On 31 March 2019, he opened the score in a 2–1 away loss against Olympiacos.[29] International careerOn 16 March 2018, he was called in the Greek national team from Michael Skibbe for the friendly match against Switzerland on 23 March 2018.
