Quadricycle refers to vehicles with four wheels. In 1896 Ford called his vehicle the "Quadricycle"; it ran on four bicycle wheels with an engine driving the back wheels.[1] In modern-day France, a quadricycle is a 4-wheel car that cannot go faster than {{convert|45|kph|abbr=on}}, weighs less than {{convert|425|kg|abbr=on}}, and has a maximum power of {{convert|4|kW|abbr=on}}.[2][3] See also the USA's Low-speed vehicle class.
