From 1980 to 1990 he was Vice President of the Hungarian Central Statistical Office, and from 1990 to 1995 Country General Manager (CEO) for IBM Hungary. In 1995 he was appointed CEO of MATAV, which was Magyar Telekom in 1996. He served as its chairman and CEO until 2006, and was succeeded by Christopher Mattheisen. After his retirement at Magyar Telekom, he has been President of the Hungarian Yachting Association from 2007 to 2012, and since 2010 is Chairman of the Board and Managing Partner of Day One Capital.[3] Selected publications
