}}Enneanectes carminalis, known commonly as the carmine triplefin or the delicate triplefin in Mexico and the United Kingdom,[2] is a species of triplefin blenny.[3] It is a tropical blenny known from reefs from Mexico to Panama, in the eastern central Pacific Ocean.[3] It was originally described by D.S. Jordan and C.H. Gilbert in 1882, as Tripterygium carminale.[4] Blennies in this species can reach a maximum length of 3 centimetres,[3] and feed primarily off of benthic algae and invertebrates.[5] References1. ^1 2 3 4 Synonyms of Enneanectes carminalis at www.fishbase.org. {{Taxonbar|from=Q1887540}}{{Perciformes-stub}}2. ^Common names for Enneanectes carminalis at www.fishbase.org. 3. ^1 2 Enneanectes carminalis at www.fishbase.org. 4. ^Jordan, D.S., and C.H.
