|name = Tasmanian yellow gum |image = |status = |status_system = |genus = Eucalyptus |species = johnstonii |authority = Maiden |}} Eucalyptus johnstonii, Johnston's gum[1][2] or Tasmanian yellow gum, is a species of Eucalyptus endemic to the southeast Tasmania, where it grows at altitudes between 500 and 800 metres on peaty soils.[3] This tree can grow up to 60 metres tall [4] and can be identified by the yellow-green colour of its new bark.
