}}Exaeretia gracilis is a moth in the Depressariidae family. It was described by Lord Walsingham in 1889.[1] It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from North Dakota to Texas and in California, Colorado, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Wisconsin and Iowa.[2] The wingspan is 16–20 mm. The forewings are straw yellow with dark brown discal spots. There is a series of six or seven dark brown spots from the costa, just before the apex around termen. The hindwings are pale greyish fuscous.[3] The larvae feed on Ambrosia psilostachya.[4] References1. ^{{LepIndex |id=108718 |accessdate=May 18, 2018}} {{Taxonbar|from=Q13631782}}{{Depressariinae-stub}}2. ^mothphotographersgroup 3. ^[https://archive.org/stream/proceedingsofuni901942unit#page/82/mode/1up Proceedings of the United States National Museum 90 (3107): 82] 4. ^"Exaeretia Stainton, 1849" at Markku Savela's Lepidoptera and Some Other Life Forms 3 : Moths described in 1889|Exaeretia|Moths of North America |
