It has been found only in the States of Puebla and Oaxaca in central Mexico.[2]Flaveria ramosissima is an annual herb up to {{convert|50|cm|in|abbr=on}} tall. Leaves are narrow, up to {{convert|5|cm|in|abbr=on}} long. One plant can produce numerous small flower heads in loose, branching arrays.
