Mentor Media Inc. marketed the film for ethics training to government departments, including the FBI, Department of Defense, and IRS, as well as hospitals, schools, and hundreds of major corporations.[6] Directed by Zucker, it starred Prager and actors Jason Alexander, Scott Bakula, Bonnie Hunt, and Bob Saget.[3] The film originally included O. J. Simpson, but Simpson was edited out of later showings after he was charged with murder.[4][5][6] A sequel, For Goodness Sake II, was produced by Rich Markey and directed by Trey Parker and released in 1996.[7] It featured Dennis Prager and fellow radio talk show host Larry Elder.[8] Both films have been in continuous use since first distributed and have been used all over the world to teach ethics, as well as been used by foreign governments to train diplomats about American culture.
