Woodward Pond{{Infobox lake| name = Woodward Pond | image = | caption = | image_bathymetry = | caption_bathymetry = | location = Bowie, Maryland[2] | coords = {{Coords|38.9618880|-76.7483909|region:US_type:waterbody|display=inline,title}}[2] | type = Reservoir[2] | inflow = | outflow = | catchment = | basin_countries = | length = | width = | area = | depth = | max-depth = | volume = | residence_time = | shore = | elevation = {{convert|128|ft}}[2] | frozen = | islands = | cities = | reference = }} The park includes Woodward Pond, a man-made pond, also referred to as Foxhill Lake.[3] It is formed by the damming of an east-west flowing tributary of Collington Branch.[3] Foxhill Park BridgeFoxhill Park Bridge is an historic bridge over Woodward Pond and is eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places under Criterion C.[3] The bridge is a five-span arch bridge made of concrete and faced with sandstone.[3] Official historians believe the bridge most likely carried a private road or path to the Belair Mansion, the large estate which until 1958 contained the pond and the land that is now Foxhill Park.[3] Architectural evidence suggests that the bridge was built circa 1920.[3] See also
