Playing careerClub careerAfter playing junior football in Zadar Croatia, Micic moved to Australia, where he played for JUST in the Victorian State League. Micic played 18 seasons for JUST between 1959 and 1977 broken only by a season stint with South Melbourne in 1968. He also played 60 games for the state team of Victoria, captaining it for 6 years. Micic was also awarded Bill Fleming's VPL's Best Player Medal three times - in 1964, 1967 and 1973.
