It offers tourist cruises (which account for ~7% of revenues). It has a ship to transport radioactive waste, and another to monitor radiation. It houses a museum ship, the N.S. Lenin. ActivityA total of about 1000 people work on atomic icebreakers, nuclear lighter carrier, ATO ‘s (atomic technology service), which are based on the nuclear fleet Atomflot. The command staff undergoes special training at the Admiral Makarov State Maritime Academy in St. Petersburg.
