Gaiyari (گیاری) is a muslim village and panchayat in Araria district in Bihar.[1] Most of the residents of the village belong to the Kulhaiya ethnicity. A good population of the village is engaged in cultivation. Since the village is few miles away from the district headquarter, Araria, the people of the village work at Araria for daily wages. Some are also good craft-men and make different articles which they sell to Araria Bazar. EducationEducation in the village has now been very good. Many people in the village are educated. Mr Haroon Rashid Ghafil belongs to this very village who is one of the most famous person of Araria.[2] The village's Islamic School (Madarsa) named 'Madarsa Shamsul Uloom Sisauna Gaiyari' is very famous.[3] ReligionThe population believes in Islam. They are highly supportive for the Tablighi Jamaat in organising different events. In organising Araria Ijtema, many persons from the village did a lot. Yadavs also constitute considerable portion of population and castes needed for rural economy like carpnters, teli, jolaha, kumhar, goldsmith, naai and mushars now working divergent jobs live together harmoniously.
