In 1930 the R.P. Hazzard wing was added to become the Children's Room, but was later converted to a Reading Room.[2] In 1960 the J. Walter Robinson Reference Wing was added, and in 1977 the Burress Moore, III Children's Room was created[3] using the second floor of the library, which had originally been designed as a public hall known as Library Hall. The Children's Room renovations were finished in 2008.[4] References1. ^http://www.gardinermaine.com/Public_Documents/GardinerME_Depts/library 2. ^http://www.gardinermaine.com/Public_Documents/GardinerME_WPacket/2007-02-22pdfs/Agenda_02_28_07_Draft.pdf 3. ^http://www.necarnegies.com/megardiner.htm 4. ^http://www.gpl.lib.me.us/history.html External links
