Berlin 1964) vermutet demgegenüber eine Übertragung des Stadtnamens von Geising auf den Berg. Ernst Eichler und Hans Walther (Städtenamenbuch der DDR. Leipzig 1986) gehen hingegen vom Gegenteil aus. Es erscheint aber glaubwürdiger, dass ein so markanter Einzelberg wie der Geisinberg schon eine Bezeichnung besaß, bevor es zur Anlage der Siedlung zu seinen Füßen kam. 2. ^http://www.osterzgebirge.org/gebiete/geising.html 3. ^http://www.bfn.de/0203_osterzgebirge.html External links{{commons}}
