{{Use dmy dates|date=May 2014}}{{Use New Zealand English|date=July 2016}}Gerald James Ellott {{postnominals|country=NZL|MNZM}} is a New Zealand architect and philatelist who signed the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 1988.^[1] He is a member of the New Zealand Order of Merit (MNZM) for Philately and a past President of the Royal Philatelic Society of New Zealand. He is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects.^[2]

Ellott has been awarded the Fédération Internationale de Philatélie Research Medal.^[3]
