It was founded by Kath Skerry in 2005 "as a way to share her thoughts on her favorite shows with fellow TV fans."[2] It is now run by owner/managing editor Marisa Roffman.[2] It is based in Los Angeles, California.[2] Give Me My Remote has interacted with the American television series Chuck on many occasions. In 2009, the website was credited with leading an effort to get the series renewed for a third season. Give Me My Remote temporarily renamed itself as Give Me My Chuck as part of the campaign.[3] In 2011, they interviewed Chuck creator Chris Fedak about the possibility of its fifth season renewal.[4] References1. ^{{cite web|url= http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/givememyremote.com |title= Givememyremote.com Site Info | publisher= Alexa Internet |accessdate= October 15, 2013}} 2. ^1 2 {{Cite web|url=http://www.givememyremote.com/remote/team-gmmr/ |title=About GMMR |publisher=Give Me My Remote |accessdate=October 15, 2013}} 3. ^{{Cite news|url=http://mashable.com/2009/05/04/nbc-save-chuck/ |title=Social Media Campaign Gives NBC’s Chuck a Fighting Chance |work=Mashable |first=Adam |last=Ostrow |date=May 4, 2009 |accessdate=October 15, 2013}} 4. ^{{Cite news|url=http://www.digitalspy.com/tv/news/a298708/chuck-exec-hoping-for-fifth-season.html |title='Chuck' exec 'hoping for fifth season' |work=Digital Spy |first=Morgan |last=Jeffery|date=January 18, 2011 |accessdate=October 15, 2013}} External links{{Portal|Internet}}
