Allied London own the Spinningfields mixed-use development that is served by the route.[1] HistoryMetroshuttle route 1 began operating in September 2002 and replaced the previous Centreline city centre operation. First Manchester was chosen by Transport for Greater Manchester to operate the service with a fleet of Optare Solos.
