The {{convert|150|ft|m|adj=on}} bridge was built in 1887 by the Wisconsin Bridge and Iron Company and was the second river crossing built at its location. Originally a road bridge, the bridge is now used for a bicycle and walking trail; it is in good condition and is considered a historically significant example of a pony truss road bridge.[2][3] The bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 3, 1998.[1] References1. ^1 {{NRISref|version=2010a}} {{National Register of Historic Places}}{{Wisconsin-NRHP-stub}}{{Wisconsin-bridge-struct-stub}}2. ^{{cite web|title=Green Bay Road Bridge|url=http://www.wisconsinhistory.org/Content.aspx?dsNav=Ny:True,Ro:0,N:4294963828-4294963814&dsRecordDetails=R:HI64998|publisher=Wisconsin Historical Society|accessdate=2015-12-31}} 3. ^{{cite news|last1=Rucker|first1=Della G.|title=Green Bay Road Bridge|url={{NRHP url|id=98000877}}|accessdate=2015-12-31|work=NRHP Inventory-Nomination Form|publisher=National Park Service|date=1997-03-21}} 7 : Road bridges on the National Register of Historic Places in Wisconsin|Bridges completed in 1887|Buildings and structures in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin|Road bridges in Wisconsin|National Register of Historic Places in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin|Pratt truss bridges in the United States|Metal bridges in the United States |
