After being previously offered a new deal by Chris Moyses,Lincoln surprisingly released Tempest at the end of the 2015-16 season after new Lincoln Manager Danny Cowley took charge.Tempest made 22 appearances for the Imps[22] Nuneaton TownAfter being released by Lincoln City, Tempest joined Nuneaton Town. On 10 March 2017 Tempest joined Gainsborough Trinity on loan until the end of the 16/17 season. After picking up a serious knee injury, Tempest's season ended prematurely. Tempest made 26 appearances for Nuneaton and 5 loan appearances at Gainsborough. Basford UnitedAfter a 15 month lay off with a knee injury, Tempest joined Basford United, in August 2018. Matlock TownTempest left Basford United on 7 January 2019, and joined Matlock Town on 8 January 2019 where he teamed up again with former Gainsborough Trinity manager Dave Frecklington and his assistant Terry Fleming. International careerTempest was eligible to play for Northern Ireland through his late grandfather, Bill Corkhill, though he never met his grandfather.[23] In May 2013, Tempest was called up by
