The Grolla d'oro (Golden Grolla, or Grolle d'oro plural) is one of the most ancient Italian film awards. The award was founded in 1953 and ran until 1981; after some years of hiatus, it was relaunched in 1989 by journalist Maurizio Costanzo and, above all, by the film critic Felice Laudadio (1990-2001).[1] The ceremonies are held in Saint-Vincent, Aosta Valley.[2][3] References1. ^{{cite news|last=Maria Pia Fusco|title=Saranno Grolle d'oro vero, parola di Costanzo e Sordi|url=http://ricerca.repubblica.it/repubblica/archivio/repubblica/1989/04/05/saranno-grolle-oro-vero-parola-di.html|accessdate=19 March 2012|newspaper=La Repubblica|date=5 April 1989}} 2. ^{{cite book|last=P.
