HistoryIn October 2010, Guardian Media Entertainment, was formed by SLG Entertainment and NHL Enterprises, created hockey-themed superheroes called "Guardians" for each of the 30 teams in the National Hockey League. The venture includes a graphic novel.[1][2] The Guardians were first introduced at the 2011 NHL All-Star Game. Guardian Media reached an venture agreement with NBCUniversal in June for further media projects from movies to television series and promotion for an equity in the company.
