The GyroTec DF02 is a German autogyro, designed and produced by GyroTec Michael Obermaier of Wörth am Rhein. The DF02 is supplied as complete ready-to-fly-aircraft.[1] Design and developmentThe DF02 features a single main rotor, a single-seat enclosed cockpit with an optional bubble canopy, tricycle landing gear and a twin cylinder, liquid-cooled, two-stroke, dual-ignition, fuel-injected {{convert|70|hp|kW|0|abbr=on}} Hirth 3503 engine in pusher configuration.[1] The aircraft uses a {{convert|7.45|m|ft|1|abbr=on}} diameter, high-inertia Averso Aviation rotor, with a chord of {{convert|21.6|cm|in|1|abbr=on}}. The rotor head was designed by GyroTec and includes a disc-style rotor brake, pre-rotator and integral articulation stops. The DF02 has an empty weight of {{convert|175|kg|lb|0|abbr=on}} and a gross weight of {{convert|300|kg|lb|0|abbr=on}}, giving a useful load of {{convert|125|kg|lb|0|abbr=on}}.[1] The bubble canopy can be removed for flight in warm weather. In 2009 the canopy size was increased to accommodate taller pilots.[1] Specifications (DF02) {{Aircraft specs |ref=Bayerl[1] |prime units?=met |genhide= |crew=one |capacity= |length m= |length ft= |length in= |length note= |width m= |width ft= |width in= |width note= |height m= |height ft= |height in= |height note= |airfoil= |empty weight kg=175 |empty weight lb= |empty weight note= |gross weight kg=300 |gross weight lb= |gross weight note= |fuel capacity={{convert|62|l}} |more general=
