He has appeared in more than sixty films since 1984. CareerHakuryu is a second-generation Korean resident of Japan (zainichi), whose real name is Jun Jung-Il (田貞一/전정일).[1] He made his film debut in 1984 in Yoichi Sai's Someone Will Be Killed, but came to prominence for his performance in Takeshi Kitano's Violent Cop in 1989.[2] Selected filmography
