Haldibari police station serves this block. Headquarters of this block is at Haldibari.[1][2] GeographyHaldibari is located at {{coord|26.33|N|88.77|E|format=dms|}}. Haldibari community development block has an area of 149.48 km2.[2] Gram panchayatsGram panchayats of Haldibari block/ panchayat samiti are: Baxiganj, Daxin Bara Haldibari, Dewanganj, Hemkumari, Per Mekhliganj and Uttar Bara Haldibari.[3]DemographicsAs per 2011 Census of India Haldibari CD Bloc had a total population of 103,969, all of which were rural. There were 52,851 males and 51,118 females.
