CareerHe was born in Port Elizabeth and made his debut for the {{Rut Mighty Elephants}} (now {{Rut Eastern Province Kings}}) in 2006. After 9 appearances in the 2006 Vodacom Cup, he joined the {{Rut Falcons}} where he made 16 appearances in the 2007 Vodacom Cup and 2007 Currie Cup competitions. He then joined Italian Super 10 team Catania, making 4 appearances in the 2007–2008 season.[2] After just one season, he returned to South Africa and joined the {{Rut SWD Eagles}} where he played his rugby in 2009. He rejoined the {{Rut Eastern Province Kings}} for 2010, but returned to the {{Rut SWD Eagles}} in 2011.
