It is hosted by a rotating team of presenters composed of a news presenter and one from a team of the seven hosts. The show, which covers topics from life issues to social news from Singapore also includes exciting lifestyle news and information.[1] The show replaced the current weekday broadcast of Singapore Today as well as half of the 7.00pm drama timeslot, airing weekdays from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.[2] A repeat telecast of "Crosstalks" and the topic of the day will also be available the next weekday, 7.30am to 8.00am. Hello Singapore ended its broadcast at Caldecott Hill on 10 March 2017. On 13 March 2017, it was then move to Mediacorp Campus at 1 Stars Avenue. BackgroundThe series is a weekday news/current affairs programme that will better reflect the sentiments and concerns of Singaporeans, combining news, current affairs and live discussions. Upcoming topicsChanges during National MourningTo respect the passing of the founding father Lee Kuan Yew, who died of pneumonia at 3.18am on 23 March 2015 (Monday), like all other Channel 8 news programmes, the opening sequence has changed. From 23 to 27 March 2015, the opening graphics were toned down and music from the sequence was replaced by melancholic music. The arrangement for the two days are such that the two news segments are shown first, afterwards, the hosts will walk viewers through each part of Singapore Votes 2015 - Campaign Report before they are shown.
Prior to the live coverage of the Polling Day report at 8.30pm, Hello Singapore presented the two news segments at 6.30pm. Following that, the show ends for the day to air 118 at 7.00pm, 2 episodes back-to-back (Episode 229 / 230). Changes during NDP 2016To celebrate Singapore 51st birthday, Hello Singapore was changed to an earlier time slot to broadcast NDP 2016 live. Changes during NDP 2017To celebrate Singapore 's 52nd Birthday. Hello Singapore changed time slot from 4.30pm instead of 6.30pm as NDP starts at 5.40pm and it is broadcast live . Trivia
