He frequently collaborated with Georg C. Klaren, working on a number of Expressonist screenplays during the silent and early sound eras. They worked on the scenario for Alfred Hitchcock's 1931 German film Mary.[1] Following the Nazi rise to power, Juttke emigrated to France.
