It is closely related to H. colemanii; the two are regarded by some authors as varieties of the same species. Hexalectris revoluta is native to western Texas, southeastern New Mexico and Chihuahua.[2][3] References1. ^{{PLANTS|id=HERE2|taxon=Hexalectris revoluta|accessdate=14 May 2015}} {{Taxonbar|from=Q15467222}}2. ^Kew World Checklist of Selected Plant Families 3. ^Biota of North America Program, county distribution map for Hexalectris revoluta (including H. colemanii in Arizona) 8 : Bletiinae|Myco-heterotrophic orchids|Orchids of the United States|Orchids of Mexico|Flora of Texas|Flora of New Mexico|Flora of Chihuahua (state)|Plants described in 1941 |
