The single eight-car train was formed from two former Keisei 3300 series four-car EMU sets leased from Keisei Electric Railway.[1] FormationThe fleet consisted of a single eight-car set formed of two permanently coupled four-car sets as shown below, with all cars motored, and car 1 at the southern end.[2]
The "M1" cars each had one lozenge-type pantograph.[2] HistoryFormed of two former Keisei 3300 series four-car sets, the 7260 series trainset entered service on the Hokuso Railway in March 2006.[3] WithdrawalThe 7260 series trainset was withdrawn following its final day in revenue service on 22 March 2015.[4] References{{commons category|Hokuso 7260 series}}1. ^{{cite book |script-title=ja: 全国私鉄超決定版 電車・機関車・気動車1700 |trans-title= Nationwide Private Railway Ultimate Edition: 1700 EMUs, Locomotives, and DMUs |last= Takai |first= Kunpei|editor1-last= Morokawa|editor1-first= Hisashi|editor2-last= Hattori|editor2-first= Akihiro|publisher = Sekaibunka-sha |date = 30 June 2014 |location = Tokyo, Japan |language = Japanese |page = 84|isbn = 978-4-418-14219-4|title= 全国私鉄超決定版電車・機関車・気動車1700 }} 2. ^1 {{cite book |script-title=ja: 私鉄車両編成表 2014 |trans-title= Private Railway Rolling Stock Formations - 2014 |publisher = Kotsu Shimbunsha |date = 24 July 2014 |location = Japan |language = Japanese |page = 26 |isbn = 978-4-330-48414-3}} 3. ^{{cite web|url= http://www.hokuso-railway.co.jp/pc/topics.php?catid=1&infoid=134|script-title= ja: 7260形営業終了とこれに伴うイベントの開催について|trans-title= Event coinciding with end of 7260 series operations|date= 3 March 2015|work= News release|publisher= Hokuso Railway|location= Japan|language= Japanese|archiveurl= https://web.archive.org/web/20150306131709/http://www.hokuso-railway.co.jp/pc/topics.php?catid=1&infoid=134|archivedate= 6 March 2015|accessdate= 6 March 2015|deadurl= yes|df= dmy-all}} 4. ^{{cite web |url= http://railf.jp/news/2015/03/23/173000.html|script-title=ja: 北総『7260形さよならイベント』開催|trans-title= Hokuso 7260 series farewell event held|date= 23 March 2015|work= Japan Railfan Magazine Online|publisher= Koyusha Co., Ltd.|location= Japan|language= Japanese|accessdate= 27 March 2015}} 2 : Electric multiple units of Japan|Train-related introductions in 2006 |
