As of 2016 the company has served already over 111 million active customers.[6][7] Major shareholder of company is PPF, a privately held international financial and investment group owned by Petr Kellner, which controls an 88.62% stake. In 1999, Home Credit a.s. was founded in the Czech Republic and in 1999 company expanded to Slovakia.
