It was released on 24 November 2014 and serves as the follow-up to his 2011 EP The Cognitive Rules. The EP was recorded at Blast Recording and Loft Music Studios in Newcastle upon Tyne, and mastered by Christian Wright at Abbey Road Studios.[1][2] ToursTo promote the EP, Thompson went on tour as the support act to Jools Holland. The tour consisted of 5 dates including the Royal Albert Hall, London, Symphony Hall, Birmingham, O2 Apollo, Manchester,[3] and Motorpoint Arena Cardiff.[4][5][6] SinglesThe Numbers was released as a single on 1 June 2014, later appearing on the House Upon The Hill EP when it was released on 24 November 2014.
