CareerYouthHe represented the {{Rut Pumas}} at the 2006 and 2007 Under–18 Craven Week tournaments, which earned him a place in the {{Rut Sharks (Currie Cup)}} academy. He played for their Under–19 team in 2008 and their Under–21 team in 2010. SharksIn 2011, he was included in the 2011 Vodacom Cup squad and made his debut against the {{Rut Welwitschias}}.[2] NMMU MadibazHowever, he failed to break into the Currie Cup team and joined Varsity Cup side {{Rut NMMU Madibaz}} instead. He was included in the South Africa Students team in 2012 and 2013[3] and he was also voted as the "Back That Rocks" for the 2013 Varsity Cup tournament.[4] GriquasHe had a trial with the {{Rut Free State Cheetahs}} in 2013,[5] but joined the {{Rut Griquas}} instead.[6] Golden LionsHe moved to Johannesburg to join the {{Rut Golden Lions}} prior to the 2014 Currie Cup Premier Division season.
