}} Hypolimnas monteironis, the black-tipped diadem or scarce blue diadem, is a butterfly in the family Nymphalidae. It is found in Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon, the Republic of the Congo, Angola, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.[2] The habitat consists of forests.
